Award of the Company Supporting Health
OEZ received the award of the Company Supporting Health. The highest rank of this title was awarded by the National
Institute of Public Health of the Czech Ministry of Health for the second time as OEZ had held this title since 2012.
New Minia. New features.
In 2015, the Minia modular devices manufactured by OEZ are subject to radical changes, which can be understood as a
generation or innovative jump in connecting. In particular, the changes concern the key product groups in the Minia
portfolio – circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers including their accessories, and also switches.
75 YEAR OF EXPERTISE AND PARTNERSHIP
In 2016 it will be exactly 75 years since the Olomouc company Wágner a spol. opened its production of fuses, fuse
bases and other products in what was then the Kyšperk region. That was the beginning of electro-technical production
in the region. Generations of the Letohrad population associated their life with electrical engineering. Thanks to
that OEZ became a sort of family for most of its employees. This is positively reflected in their approach to work
and the low turnover of employees.
New Distri products from 1 March 2016
For 2016 we have prepared new DistriTon enclosures and DistriBox switchboard cabinets.
New Building of the OEZ Testing Laboratory
OEZ has always been a progressive firm, which is confirmed by its sixty-year-long tradition of research and
development. Dozens of development experts, designers and testing engineers are currently members of international
development teams of the Siemens group, in which Letohrad-based OEZ has been active since 2007.
Arion air circuit breakers – custom-made devices
The Arion air circuit breakers have been in the OEZ‘s product portfolio since 2000. They are the successors of the AR
and ARV air circuit breakers, which had been produced by our company for more than 30 years. Since 2010 the Arion
circuit breakers are manufactured in the plant in Letohrad.
Modernization in the Varius fuse program
In the previous issues of the OEZ News you may have taken a note that we are optimizing the product portfolio of the
Varius fuse systems. Now the changes concern the cylindrical fuse-links as well as their switch-disconnectors and
disconnectors.
